New office work space completed for Pomegranate, Manchester City .Pomegranate is a forward-thinking accountancy and business consultancy operation with a requirement for state of the art workplace to match their organisational approach.
The brief for studio_néo was to create informal spaces with quiet cellular areas for occasional meetings. There was also a need to host a co-working property business.
As designers we persuaded both landlords and our clients to adopt a more contemporary stripped- down industrial aesthetic as opposed to the usual whitebox/suspended ceiling solution.
The cellular spaces are designed to appear as traditional steel framed glass elements located independantly from the coarseness of the existing textured concrete ceilings. Therefore the essence of the design is a mixture of raw and slick finishes.
Features include carefully planned service routes, grow walls and IT and video conferencing facilities.
